Islamabad (Sports News): The Pakistan ATP Challenger Cup 2025 continued at the PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad, featuring 25 international players from Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Australia, Italy, Bulgaria, Austria, Sweden, Georgia, Great Britain, and Switzerland, along with 10 top Pakistani players.Men’s Doubles Final:Dominik Palan of the Czech Republic and Denis Yevseyev of Kazakhstan clinched the doubles title after defeating Pakistan’s Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Muzammil Murtaza 7-6(3), 6-4 in an exciting final.This match also marked the final ATP Challenger Tour appearance of Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi. Aqeel Khan showed some resistance and lost to Dinko Daniv 1-2 in a well-contested match of the day.The Pakistan ATP Challenger Cup officially commenced on 23rd November 2025. Nadir Mirza Represents Pakistan at the Australian Open Junior Championships
Islamabad (Sports News):The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) announced that junior tennis player Nadir Raza Mirza will be representing Pakistan at the Dunlop Road to the Australian Open - Asian Qualifying Tournament, currently underway in Yokkaichi, Japan.Competing in this prestigious event is a great honor for both Nadir and Pakistan, as he continues to demonstrate his exceptional skill, hard work, and dedication to the game of tennis. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi(SI) President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation, extended his heartfelt best wishes to Nadir, expressing confidence in his performance. He stated:“Nadir is a great talent and a source of pride for Pakistan. His participation on such an international stage is not only a personal achievement but also an inspiration for all upcoming tennis players in the country. Rana Mashood inaugurates Padel and Mini Tennis Courts at PTF
Islamabad (SBR): Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, inaugurated the newly constructed Padel and Mini Tennis Courts at the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Tennis Complex, Islamabad. He was accompanied by Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF).Speaking at the occasion, Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan commended the efforts of the PTF and its leadership, stating that “Tennis is flourishing in Pakistan under the dynamic leadership of Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi. The Government of Pakistan and the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme fully support Mr. Aisam’s vision for the growth and development of tennis in the country.”Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the PTF, expressed his gratitude to Mr. Rana Mashood for gracing the event and inaugurating the new facilities. He highlighted that the newly built courts will serve dual purposes — as padel tennis courts and as mini tennis courts for children. “These courts will play a vital role in introducing tennis to young kids at an early age, encouraging their interest and participation in the sport. Sheheryar Memorial Tennis: Rashid Malik/Arif, Aisam/Muzamil clinch doubles titles
LAHORE (SBR): Rashid Malik/Arif Feroze clinched the seniors’ 55 plus doubles title while Aisam ul Haq/Muzamil Murtaza won the men’s doubles title in the 9th Sheheryar Malik Memorial Pakistan Open Tennis Championship 2025 at the Sports Board Punjab Tennis Academy Nishtar Park Lahore on Saturday. Shoaib had to struggle hard to beat Aqeel Khan 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 while Muzamil Murtaza got walk over against Mudassar Murtaza. Now M Shoaib will take on Muzammil in the men’s singles final on Sunday (October 26, 2025). In the ladies’ singles final, Ushna Sohail beat Mehaq Khokhar 6-4, 6-0 to clinch the title. In the seniors 45 plus doubles semifinals, Talha Waheed/Ashar Khan beat Arif Feroze/Khurram Imtiaz 7-5, 6-1. In the seniors 70 plus doubles final, Asad Niaz/Kh Khurram beat Waqar Nisar/Christopher 6-1, 7-5. In the seniors 65 plus doubles semifinal, Brig Ghazanfar/Maj Saeed beat Malik Imtiaz/Dr Zulfiqar 6-1, 6-2. In the girls U-12 semifinals, Khadija Khalil beat Zaina Abdullah 4-0, 4-0 and Aiman Rehan beat Eman Shahbaz 4-0, 5-3.

Islamabad (Sports Desk): The ITF Pakistan International J-30 Junior Tennis Championships 2025 (Leg-1) concluded held at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex, Islamabad.A large number of junior tennis players from around the world participated in this prestigious tournament. The countries represented included China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lithuania, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the host nation, Pakistan.In the Boys’ Singles Final, Mikaeel Ali Baig (PAK) defeated Kristijonas Milasaukas (LTU) 6-3, 6-4 to claim the Boys’ Singles Title.In the Girls’ Singles Final, Ecrin Lal Yavuz (TUR) defeated Yewon Lee (KOR) 7-5, 6-3 to win the Girls’ Singles Title.Senator Salim Saifullah Khan, Vice President of the Asian Tennis Federation, was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony, while Mr. Zamrud Khan, CEO of Pakistan Sweet Home, was the Guest of Honour. They distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up, along with Col. Zia-ud-Din Tufail, Secretary General of PTF.The ceremony was also attended by Saddam Husssain -OGDCL,Major Suleman Junaid (SEVP-PTF), Saeed Ahmad Khan (SVP-PTF), Col. Gul Rehman (Director C&S-PTF), as well as a large number of players, parents, coaches, and tennis enthusiasts.As part of the ITF-PTF Junior Tennis Initiative (JTI) Program, around 200 children from Dar-e-Arqam School, Allied School Margalla Town, Pakistan Sweet Home School (H-9), and ICG Islamabad Girls College visited the PTF Tennis Complex to witness the final match. The children also had the opportunity to play with foreign coaches and players under the supervision of Hamid Niaz (JTI Coordinator, PTF) and Masood Abbasi (Regional JTI Coordinator).The Pakistan Tennis Federation is also pleased to announce that the Ali Embroidery Pakistan World Junior Tennis Championship 2025 (Leg-2) main draw will commence on Monday, 27th October 2025, at the PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad.

ATF U12 Team Championship: Pakistan beat Thailand 2–1
Islamabad (Sports News): On the final day of the ATF 12 & under Intercontinental Team Competition 2025 in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, the Pakistan team defeated Thailand 2–1 to secure an impressive 5th place finish out of 12 of the world’s top tennis nations. The Thailand team had defeated Pakistan in the finals of the ATF 12 & under Team Competition, Singapore in August 2025, but now Pakistan took revenge on Thailand.The tournament featured strong teams from Australia, Africa (CAT), China, Chinese Taipei, South America (COSAT), Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Korea, New Zealand, Pacific Oceania, Pakistan, and Thailand.Pakistan’s Results:Pakistan vs Korea – 1-2Pakistan vs New Zealand – 2-1Pakistan vs Australia – 0-2Pakistan vs Colombia – 2-1Pakistan vs Thailand – 2-1.

Pakistani players reach Kazakhstan to participate in ATF U12 competitions
Abdul Jabbar FaisalISLAMABAD: A four-member Pakistan tennis team including Mohammad Shayan Afridi, Rashid Ali Bachani, Mohammad Ibraheem Hussain Gill, and Mohammad Abid (Team Captain) reached Shymkent, Kazakhstan to take part in the ATF U12 Team Competitions 2025, which will be kicked off on September 27.According to a media person of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Mohammad Sohail, Pakistani under 12 players have reached Shymkent, Kazakhstan, to participate in the ATF Under 12 Intercontinental Team Competition 2025, scheduled to take place in Shymkent from September 27 to October 5.As many as 12 nations from across the world will compete for the top honour during the 10-day international junior tennis showpiece, as the Green Shirts will be participating for the first time. The players were selected following their outstanding performance in the finals of the ATF U12  Team Competition, held in Singapore from 25th to 30th August -2025.Besides Pakistan, Australia, Africa (CAT), China, Chinese Taipei, South America (COSAT), Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Korea, New Zealand, Pacific Oceania, and Thailand will show their power in the international junior tennis fixture.Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President-PTF hoped that Pakistani team will perform well in the tournament.
