PBCC names 17-member squad for IBSA Blind World Games 2023
Nasir Ali to lead Green Shirts, Games to start on August 17 in BirminghamAbdul Jabbar FaisalISLAMABAD: Nasir Ali category B players will lead the national team in the forthcoming IBSA Blind World Games 2023, as the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) named a 17-man squad for the Birmingham trip next month. Babar Munir will be the deputy of Nasir Ali in the prestigious international fixture.According to an official of PBCC, Pakistan Blind Cricket Team will visit the United Kingdom (UK) to participate in IBSA Blind World Games scheduled to be held from August 17 to 27, 2023 in Birmingham UK. After the approval of Syed Sultan Shah Chairman of PBCC named the team players and officials. Also, Syed Sultan Shah will tour with the team in the capacity of President of the World Blind Cricket and the Head of the Pakistan Blind Cricket delegation.Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) selected 17 players for the games and three officials will also accompany the national squad. IBSA World Games will host 11 sports and competitions. World Blind Cricket Ltd and IBSA agreed to add Cricket for the visually impaired men and women for the first time ever in the IBSA World Games 2023. Blind Cricket League 2023 concludes
KPK win PBCC Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2023 titleSports Bulletin ReportAbbottabad:-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) defeated Sindh by 5 wickets in the final of the PBCC Blind Cricket T20 Super League 2023 here at Abbottabad Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Israr-ul-Hasan was declared the best player of the match.KPK won the toss and put Sindh into bat first. Sindh XIs were bowled out only on 190 runs in 19.1 overs. Badar Munir was the top scorer for Sindh, he made 64 off 39 balls and Sana Ullah scored 44 runs off 32 balls. For KPK, Babar Ali and Israr ul Hassan claimed 3 wickets each.KPK got their 191 runs to target in 17.5 overs by losing their 5 wickets. Ayoub Khan was the highest scorer with 40 runs off 29 balls, while Riasat Khan and Niamat Ullah made 38 and 28 runs respectively. Blind Cricket T-20 League: Sindh and KPK qualify for final
Sports Bulletin ReportAbbottabad:-Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkawa (KPK) reached the final of the 6th PBCC Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2023 after showing notable performance in the first stage of league matches here at Abbottabad Cricket Stadium on Friday. Final will be played today (Saturday) at the same venue.On Friday, Punjab beat Baluchistan by three wickets in the 11th league match. Baluchistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Baluchistan were bowled out only on 186 runs in allotted 20 overs. Matiullah was Baluchistan’s top scorer; he scored 35 off 32 balls and Kamran made 32 runs off 22 balls. For Punjab, Idrees was the pick amongst the bowlers; he claimed 3 wickets while Safdar, Haroon and Sajid took 1 wicket each.In reply, Punjab reached the target of 187 runs in 18.3 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Moain Aslam was the pick of the batters for Punjab, scoring 63 runs off 42 balls and Haroon Khan made 37 runs off 27 balls. Matiullah took 2 wickets while Mohsin, Kmran and Salman shared 1 wicket each. Haroon Khan got man of the match award.In the second match of the day, KPK outclassed Sindh by 8 wickets at the same venue. KPK won the toss and asked Sindh to take guard. Sindh made a competitive total of 223 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Badar Munir was the top scorer with superb brisk 100 runs off 40 balls and Mohammad Akram chipped in with 87 runs off 60 balls. Israr grabbed 2 wickets for KPK.KPK in reply reached the target of 224 runs in 18.3 overs by losing their 2 wickets. Nisar Ali once again shined with the bat, he played a terrific innings of an unbeaten 122* runs off 61 balls well supported by Ayoub Khan who scored 54 runs off 38 balls. Mohammad Irfan took 1 wicket. Nisar Ali was declared man of the match award.

Blind Cricket News: Sindh, KPK post triumphs in T20 Super League
Sports Bulletin ReportAbbottabad:-Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunekawa (KPK) have won their matches in the ongoing 6th Pakistan Blinds’ Cricket Council (PBCC) Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2023 here at Abbottabad Cricket Stadium on Thursday.In the first match of the day Sindh beat Baluchistan by 8 runs in a thriller contest. Baluchistan’s skipper won the toss and asked Sindh to take guard. Sindh were bowled out on 225 runs in allotted 20 overs. The veteran Mohammad Akram played efficiently and made 52 runs off 36 Balls while Mohammad Tahsin made 50 runs off 29 balls. Matiullah, Salman and Ameer Hamza shared a wicket apiece.In reply, Balochistan team was manage to score 217 runs by losing their 7 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Kamran was their top scorer with 98 runs off 47 balls and Mohammad Rashid made 41 runs off 34 balls. Badar and Irfan took 2 wickets each. Mohammad Akram was declared best player of the match.Meanwhile, in the second match, KPK defeated Punjab by 49 runs at the same venue. KPK won the toss and opted to bat first. KPK set the huge total of 243 runs on the board for the loss of 5 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Nisar Ali once again played an extraordinary innings of 141 runs off 75 balls while Niamat Ullah made 36 runs off 24 balls. Sajid Nawaz and Akmal Hayat took 1 wicket each for Punjab.  In reply, Punjab could score 194 for 4 runs in stipulated 20 overs. Moain Aslam was the top scorer with 59 runs off 40 balls and Faisal Mehmood made 44 runs off 31 balls. Babar Ali took 2 wickets and Kashif fetched 1 wicket for KPK. Blind Cricket Council announces monthly Honorarium for 17 men
Sports Bulletin Report ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) has selected the following 17 players for the monthly Honorarium who performed notably well in recent domestic competitions. According to an official of PBCC, the players will receive a monthly Honorarium for the term of the next six (6) months from January 2023 to June 2023 in (3) three categories including Category A (Rs. 20,000 per month), Category B (Rs. 17,000 per month) and Category C (Rs. 15,000 per month). Baluchistan win the title of A S Ali Blind Cricket Super League 2023
Sports Bulletin Report FAISALABAD: Baluchistan have clinched the title of the A S Ali Blind Cricket Super League 2023 after defeating Punjab by six runs in the final at Bohranwali Cricket Ground Faisalabad on Wednesday. Punjab won the toss and decided to bowl first. Baluchistan were bowled out on 471 runs in 39.5 overs. Faisal Mehmood played a marvelous innings of 165 runs (off 84 balls) and he was well supported by Shahzaib Haider, who got out after scoring 143 runs (off 96 balls). Badar Muneer, Ayyaz and Mehtab claimed 2 wickets each for Punjab. In reply, Punjab started the chase briskly but at the end fell 6 runs short of the target. Punjab’s team was bowled out on 465 in 39.4 overs. Badar Muneer was their highest scorer with 148 runs (off 68 balls) and Mohammad Safdar made 95 runs (off 59 balls). Punjab, Baluchistan storm into final of Blind Cricket Super League 2023
Sports Bulletin Report ISLAMABAD: Punjab and Baluchistan stormed into the final of A S Ali Blind Cricket Super League 2023 after winning their respective matches at two different venues of Faisalabad on Tuesday. Baluchistan beat Islamabad-AJK by 7 wickets Venue: Cricket Ground of Sports Complex Chak No 8 Faisalabad The 9th Match of the event was played between Balochistan and Islamabad-AJK. In the morning Balochistan won the toss and asked KPK to take guard. Islamabad-AJK posted a competitive total of 379 runs on the board for the loss of 6 wickets in allotted 40 overs. Haroon Khan played a brilliant innings of 117 runs (off 76 balls) and Mohammad Akram the veteran batsman scored 66 runs (off 59 balls). Shahzeb Haider, M Adeel and M Asif shared a wicket each. In Reply, Balochistan reached the target in 40th over of the inning for the loss of 3 wickets. Moeen Aslam played a marvelous innings of unbeaten 251* runs (off 139 balls) helping his side to beat Islamabad by 7 wickets. He was well supported by Ayoub Khan, he made 65 runs (off 47 balls). KPK piled up 390 runs on the board for the loss of 8 wickets. Kamran, Idrees and Yasir took 1 wicket each for Sindh. Sindh in reply chased down the target of 391 runs in 37.5 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. KPK posted a competitive total of 404 runs on the board for the loss of 3 wickets in allotted 40 overs. Mati Ullah played a wonderful innings of unbeaten 188 runs not out (off 124 balls) and Anees Javed scored 100 runs (off 70 balls). In Reply, Balochistan reached the target in 40th over of the inning for the loss of 5 wickets.
