Balochistan and Sindh record victories in Blind Cricket

ABBOTTABAD:-Balochistan and Sindh have won their matches on the Day-5 of 5th PBCC Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2022 after beating their opponents at Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground Abbottabad on Monday.
Results (Day-5):
Game-1 (Balochistan beat Punjab by 10 wickets)
Baloshistan won the toss and asked Punjab to take guard. Punjab posted 208 runs on the board for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Mohammad Safdar played beautifully for his 66 runs off 39 balls while Mohammad Rashid made 32 runs for Punjab. Badar Munir and Abdul Manan shared a wicket apiece.
The target of 209 runs wasn’t proved tough to the robust batting lineup of Balochistan and they chased down quite easily in just 16 overs without losing any wicket. Badar Munir once again shined with the bat and played a marvelous innings of unbeaten 105* runs off 53 balls. Mohsin Khan was the second highest scorer with unbeaten 86* runs off 46 balls.

Game-2 (Sindh beat KPK by 8 wickets):
KPK won the toss and opted to bat first. KPK set the competitive total of 219 runs on the board for the loss of 4 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Mati Ullah was the highest scorer with 78 runs off 42 balls while Mohammad Rizwan made 57 runs off 40 balls for KPK. Israr Hassan and Kashif took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Sindh team’s captain Nisar Ali played a superb innings of unbeaten 121* runs off 55 balls, helping his side to beat KPK by 8 wickets. Mohammad Faisal was the second highest scorer with 50 runs off 25 balls. Sindh reached the target in 17.5 overs by losing their 2 wickets. Mati Ullah and Ayyas shared a wicket each.

PBCC T-20 Blind Cricket: Balochistan stun KPK by 10 wickets

ABBOTTABAD:-Balochistan claimed a massive victory against Khyber PukhtoonKawa (PK) by 10 wickets in the Pakistan Blinds’ Cricket Council (PBCC) National T-20 Cricket Championship at Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground, Abbottabad on Sunday. In the other match of the day Punjab defeated Sindh by 24 runs at the same venue.
Day-4
Game-1 (Balochistan beat KPK by 10 wickets):
Badar’s all-round performance helped Balochistan to thrash KPK. In the morning, KPK won the toss and decided to bat first but their decision proved off beam. Badar Munir opened the bowling for Balochistan and took the hat-trick in the first over and KPK couldn’t recover from this big jolt. KPK made 164 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs, Sanaullah was their top scorer with 68 runs off 51 balls and Naseeb Ullah made 55 runs. Badar Munir took 4 wickets and Kamran Akhter claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, Badar’s devastating innings of 100 runs off 38 balls featuring 15 (4’s) and 3 sixes helped Balochistan to reach the target in just 9.5 overs without any loss. Akmal Hayyat also chipped in with 44 runs off 27 balls.
Result: Balochistan won by 10 wickets

Day-4
Game-2 (Punjab beat Sindh by 24 runs)
Sindh won the toss and decided to bowl first. Sindh tighten the screws till the 10th over and Punjab was hovering at 88 runs for 2 wickets, thereafter Punjab accumulated 131 runs in the last 10 overs of the innings and finished at 219 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Mohammad Rashid was the star with the bat, he made 119 runs off 61 balls.
Sindh in reply, tried well but fell 24 runs short of the target. Sindh made 195 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Nisar Ali made 52 runs off 22 balls and Faisal Mehmood remained unbeaten at 40 runs. Shahzaib Haider took 2 wickets while Sajid Nawaz and Anees Javed claimed a wicket a piece.
Result: Punjab won by 24 runs

PBCC Blind Cricket: Punjab and Sindh claim victories

ABBOTTABAD:-Punjab and Sindh have won their matches of the ongoing Pakistan Blinds’ Cricket Council (PBCC) Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2022 after beating Khyber PkhtuneKawa (KPB) and Balochistan by 2 and 7 wickets respectively on Saturday at Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground, Abbottabad.
Day-3
Game-1 (Punjab beat KPK by 2 wickets)
Punjab won the match on the last ball in a sensational finish. Early in the morning Punjab won the toss and put KPK into bat. KPK made 195 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Moeen Aslam was the top scorer for KPK, he made 66 off 47 balls while Naseeb Ullah made 31 runs off 24 balls. For Punjab, Shahzaib Haider was the pick amongst the bowler, he claimed 3 wickets while Muhammad Asif took 2 wickets.
In reply, Punjab started well and their first wicket fell at the score of 40, when Anees Javed was bowled by Yasir, he made 14 runs. Zafar Iqbal couldn’t make the impact either he got out after scoring 2 runs. Wickets kept falling while Muhammad Safdar kept the scoreboard ticking, he made 46 off 35 balls. Punjab chased the target in a nail-biting finish at the last ball of the innings with the help of brisk innings of Muhammad Rashid, he made 26 runs off 19 balls. Punjab lost 8 wickets during the process.

Game-2 (Sindh beat Balochistan by 7 wickets)
Sindh won the toss and decided to bowl first. Balochistan posted a huge total of 225 runs on the board for the loss of 1 wicket in stipulated 20 overs. Badar Munir was the star with the bat, he made unbeaten 136 runs off 67 balls with the help of 14 (4’s) and 3 sixes, while Riasat Khan made 68 runs off 53 balls. Israr Hasan was the only bowler to claim the only wicket.
In reply, Sindh’s Captain Nisar Ali played extraordinary innings of 82 runs off 44 balls featuring 13 (4’s) and helped his side to reach the mammoth target of 226 runs in 19.2 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Faisal Mehmood also played a gem of the innings he got out after scoring 75 runs off 41 balls featuring 8 (4’s) and 1 six.
Result: Sindh won by 7 wickets

ABBOTTABAD:-KPK and Punjab have won their matches on the Day-2 of 5th PBCC Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2022 Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground Abbottabad on Friday.
Day-2
Game-1: (KPK beat Sindh by 21 runs)
Matiullah’s captain’s innings of 71 runs helped KPK to beat Sindh by 21 runs. KPK won the toss and decided to bat first. KPK’s batsmen played superbly well and set the competitive total of 200 runs on the board for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Moeen Aslam was the second highest with 30 runs. Kashif Siddique and Israr Hassan grabbed 2 wickets each.
In reply, Sindh tried its best to reach the target of 201 runs but fell 21 runs short of the target. Sindh’s team was able to score 179 runs by losing their 7 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Nisar Ali was their top scorer with 70 runs and Haroon Khan made 44 runs. Rizwan & Ayyaz took 2 wickets each while Shahzeb claimed 1 wicket.
Result: KPK won by 21 runs

Game-2 (Punjab beat Balochistan by 9 wickets)
Punjab won the toss and asked Balochistan to bat first. Balochistan posted a tiny total of 179 runs on the board for the loss of 5 wickets in allotted 18 overs. Riasat Khan was the highest scorer with 70 runs. Mohammad Safdar fetched 1 wicket.
The target of 180 runs wasn’t proved tough for the healthy batting lineup of Punjab and they achieved the target easily in 15 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Mohammad Safdar was the top scorer for Punjab who scored unbeaten 84* runs while Zafar Iqbal played a supportive inning of unbeaten 36* runs.

PBCC Blind Cricket T-20: Sindh and Balochistan earn victories

ABBOTTABAD:-The 5th edition of Pakistan Blinds’ Cricket Council (PBCC) Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2022 commenced with the opening day victories of Sindh and Balochistan, as they defeated Punjab and Khyber PakhtunKawa (KPK) respectively by 8 wickets at Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground, Abbottabad.
Four (4) provincial teams Sindh, Punjab, KPK and Balochistan are fighting for the title. Legendary Pakistan Cricket Star Abdul Razzaq inaugurated the event by hitting the ball. He was accompanied by Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman Pakistan Blind Cricket Council, Dr. Umer Farooq, Dean, Ayub Medical College and Sardar Shuja Nabi, City Mayor Abbottabad.
Day-1
Game-1
Sindh beat Punjab by 8 wickets:
Due to overnight rain and wet outfield umpires decided to reduce the match to 12 overs per innings. Sindh won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Punjab team made 120 for 7 runs in allotted 12 overs. Zafar Iqbal was the highest scorer with 36 runs and Sanwal made 16 runs. Babar and Salman grabbed 1 wicket each.
Sindh, in reply chased down the target in 11.1 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Mohammad Faisal shined with the bat and played a superb inning of unbeaten 60 runs, helped his side to beat Punjab by 8 wickets. Mohammad Salman was the second highest scorer with 16 runs. Sajid took 1 wicket.
Result: Sindh won by 8 Wickets

Game-2:
Balochistan beat KPK by 8 wickets:
Balochistan won the toss and put KPK in to bat first. Balochistan bowling didn’t allow KPK batters to score runs fluently. KPK were restricted to 104 runs in allotted 12 overs by losing their 5 wickets. Moeen Aslam played beautifully for his 39 runs and Matiullah scored 28 runs. Mohsin Khan and Kamran took 1 wicket each.
The target of 105 runs wasn’t proved tough to the robust batting lineup of Balochistan and they chased down quite easily in 10.4 over for the loss of 2 wickets. Riasat Khan was the top scorer for Balochistan who scored 38 runs while Bismillah & Badar made 27 and 14 not out runs respectively. Shahzeb fetched 1 wicket for KPK.
Result: Balochistan won by 8 wickets

Attock lift the title of NBP T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2022

Quetta (Pakistan):-Attock has won the title of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2022 (Grade-2) after beating Karachi by 5 wickets in the final at Fatima Jinnah Cricket Ground, Quetta on Tuesday.
Syed Sultan Shah (Chairman Pakistan Blind Cricket Council), Junaid Iqbal (CSR officer NBP), Syed Salman Bokhari (Director Cricket Operations PBCC), Aatif Qayyum (Director Education & Rehabilitation PBCC), Mansoor Khan, representative of PCB Quetta and Nusrullah Shahwani (President SQCCB) were the guests and distributed prizes amongst the players.
Earlier, in the morning, Karachi won the toss and asked Attock to take guard. Attock posted a competitive total of 202 runs on the board for the loss of 7 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Muhammad Raheel was the top scorer with 59 runs and Ehtisham ul Haq made 27 runs. Tahir Ali, Abdul Wahab and Hassan Raza fetched 1 wicket each for Karachi.
In reply, Karachi tried its best to reach the target of 203 runs but fell 5 runs short of the target. Karachi’s team was able to score 197 runs by losing their 6 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Tahir Ali was their top scorer with 104 runs and Bismillah Khan made 21 runs. Ehtisham ul Haq was the pick amongst the bowlers; he took 3 wickets for Attock.

Attock and Karachi storm into the final of the NBP T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy

Quetta (Pakistan):-Attock and Karachi stormed into the final of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2022 after beating their challengers in the semifinals at Fatima Jinnah Cricket Ground Quetta on Monday.
The final of the tournament will be played between Attock and Karachi at the same venue on Tuesday.

Semifinal-1: Attock beat Hyderabad by 23 runs
In the morning, Attock won the toss and decided to bat first. Openers Ehtisham ul Haq and Zeshan toiled the strong bowling of Hyderabad and both knitted 129 runs for the 1st wicket partnership. Attock made 266 runs on the board for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Ehtisham ul Haq was the top scorer with 105 runs and Zeshan made 70 runs. Hussain Bax took 2 wickets while Mohsin Ahmed took 1 wicket for Hyderabad.
In reply, Hyderabad was well on the course to chase the target till the 15th over, but Amjad Mugheri’s wicket opened the opportunity to Attock and they grabbed it with both hands. Imran Sarwar tried his best in a fighting inning of unbeaten 133* runs but Hyderabad was restricted to 243 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Amjad Mugheri was the 2nd best scorer with 70 runs. Muhammad Raheel took 1 wicket.
Result: Attock won by 23 runs

Semifinal-2: Karachi beat Quetta by 16 runs
The second semifinal of the event was played between Karachi and Quetta. Quetta won the toss and put Karachi into bat. Karachi posted a mammoth total of 286 runs on the board for the loss of 1 wicket in the stipulated 20 overs. The veteran Tahir Ali played an extraordinary innings of 150 runs and Bismillah Khan made unbeaten 80* runs.
In reply, Quetta was restricted to 270 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Niamat Ullah was their highest scorer with unbeaten 115 runs and Naseeb Ullah chipped in with 84 runs. Mohammad Ali Akasha and Shahzad Iqbal claimed 1 wicket each for Karachi.

NBP Blind T-20 Cricket Trophy: Attock, Hyderabad, Karachi and Quetta reach in semifinals

Quetta (Pakistan):-Besides, hosts Quetta, Attock, Hyderabad and Karachi moved into the semifinals of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Blind T-20 Cricket Trophy after showing acceptable performance in the first round at two different cricket venues in Quetta.
On Monday, in the 1st semifinal Attock will meet Hyderabad while Karachi will take on Quetta in the 2nd semifinal, as the both matches will be played at Bolan Cricket Stadium Quetta.

Games-1: Attock beat Quetta by 13 runs at Bolan Cricket Stadium
In the morning, Quetta won the toss and decided to bowl first. Attock set a healthy total of 258 runs for all out in 19.4 overs. Ehtisham ul Haq played brilliant innings of 69 runs and Muhammad Sohail scored 38 runs. Shahid and Ehsan Ullah claimed 2 wickets each for Quetta.
In reply Quetta was restricted to 245 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Niamat Ullah was their highest scorer with 119 runs and Talib Hussain chipped in with 34 runs. Ehtisham ul Haq and Bilal Sarwar took 1 wicket each for Attock.

Game-2: Faisalabad beat Sargodha by 10 wickets at Shola Cricket Ground
Faisalabad won the toss and put Sargodha in to bat first. Sargodha made 133 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in allotted 15 overs. Zain Ashraf was the top scorer with 31 runs and Zaheer Ahmed made 24 runs. Danish, Ejaz Hussain, Bilal Ahmed and Bilal Hassan shared a wicket apiece.
In reply, Faisalabad chased the target in style in 8.4 overs without losing any wicket. Ejaz Hussain played terrifically and remained unbeaten on 60* runs, he was well supported by Bilal Ali who made unbeaten 59* runs.

Game-3: Hyderabad beat Multan by 2 runs at Bolan Cricket Stadium
Hyderabad outplayed Multan in a sensational nail-biter. Hyderabad’s openers played excellently well and helped their side to pile up 309 runs on the board in stipulated 20 overs. Amjad Ali played master class innings of unbeaten 163* run, he was well supported by Imran Sarwar who scored unbeaten 123* runs.
In reply, Multan fought hard; Mohammad Safdar and Abdul Razzaq kept their chances alive by dazzling batting but unfortunately fell 3 runs short of the target. Mohammad Safdar made unbeaten 183* runs and Abdul Razzaq made 38 runs. Multan made 307 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. Imran Sarwar claimed 1 wicket.
Result: Hyderabad won by 2 runs

Game-4: Karachi beat Gilgit by 9 wickets at Shola Cricket Ground
Karachi won the toss and put Gilgit in to bat first. Gilgit made 148 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 15 overs. Shoeb Mir was the top scorer with 71 runs. Sher Ali and Bismillah Khan took 1 wicket each for Karachi.
In reply, Karachi reached the target in 12.1 overs by losing their 1 wicket. Shahzad Iqbal was the highest scorer with 61 runs and Shoeb Khan made quick 50 runs for Karachi. Mohammad Irfan fetched 1 wicket.

Connecting two wonders of Gujarat

The idea of offering the free ropeway ride to the fans of cricket is a unique one, according to Deepak Kaplish, the Assistant Vice President of Usha Breco Limited.
"The IPL final is being held at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, the largest cricket stadium in the world. Girnar Ropeway is the longest ropeway in India and wonder of Gujarat, has decided to launch a scheme that if Gujarat Titans wins the IPL Title then whoever has gone to watch IPL match with valid ticket in the stadium will be provided a free ropeway ride at Girnar Ropeway on showing IPL final ticket. This scheme is valid for one month, from 30th May 2022", the press release says.
Later, speaking to this Reporter, Deepak Kaplish said, "the idea came to connect two wonders of Gujarat, the largest stadium and the longest ropeway".
"This new ropeway was inaugurated by our Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 24th October 2020 and the IPL final is also being played at the stadium named after him".
"It is a matter of pride for Gujarat to have its own team in the IPL and it is a big achievement for the team to reach the final, in its first season".
The ropeway, which is constructed by Breco Limited, the pioneers in ropeway since 1969, has already carried 11 lacs passengers.
"The company may have offered the ride to the players but as this ropeway is far from Ahmedabad (6 hours drive in Junagadh), it was not possible".
"This free ropeway offer is non-transferable and can be used once and can not be clubbed with any other offer".

Quetta (Pakistan):- Hyderabad, Quetta, Karachi and Attock have won their matches of the 2nd day of ongoing National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2022 (Grade-2), Quetta on Saturday.
Hosts Quetta registered second back-to-back 10 wickets win the tournament.

Game-1: Hyderabad beat Gilgit by 117 runs at Bolan Stadium
In the morning, Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bat first. Hyderabad set a healthy total of 235 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in stipulated 15 overs. Imran Sarwar played brilliant innings of 86 runs and Ubaid Ullah scored 65 runs. Irfan Claimed 2 wickets for Gilgit.
In Reply Gilgit made 118 runs in stipulated 15 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Nabi Ullah was the top scorer with 28 runs and Shoeb Mir made 23 runs. For Hyderabad Mohsin Ahmed took 2 wickets while Amjad and Ubaid Ullah took 1 wicket each.
Result: Hyderabad won by 117 runs

Game-2: Quetta beat Sargodha by 10 wickets at Shola Cricket Ground
Quetta won the toss and put Sargodha in to bat first. Sargodha made 168 runs in allotted 15 overs. Zain Ashraf was the top scorer with 70 runs and Gul Sher made 51 runs. Abdul Rasheed and Kaleem Ullah shared a wicket apiece.
In reply, Quetta chased the target in style in 12.5 overs without losing any wicket. Niamat Ullah played superbly and remained unbeaten on 102* runs, he was well supported by Mohammad Saleem who made unbeaten 54* runs.

Game-3: Karachi beat Multan by 7 wickets at Bolan Stadium
Karachi chased a mammoth total of 274 runs in 19th over. Tahir Ali’s ton helped Karachi to win the contest. Earlier, Multan batted first and piled up a huge total of 273 runs on the board for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Mohammad Safdar played extraordinary innings of 93 runs; he was well supported by Ghulam Akbar, who scored 90 runs. Hassan Raza and Abdul Wahab Khan took 1 wicket each.
In reply, the outstanding innings of Tahir Ali helped Karachi to win the match. Tahir Ali scored 118 runs. Shoeb Khan made quick 38 runs. Karachi chased the target in 18.3 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.

Attock won the toss and put Faisalabad in to bat first. Faisalabad were bowled out on 139 runs in 15 overs. Ejaz Hussain was the top scorer with 27 runs while Hamza Mehboob made 18 runs. Bashir Ahmed was the pick amongst the bowler; he claimed 4 wickets and Mohammad Sohail took 3 wickets.
In reply, Attock reached the target in 13 overs by losing their 4 wickets. Mohammad Sohail was the highest scorer with 30 runs and he was well supported by Mohammad Raheel who made unbeaten 28* runs. Danish and Mohammad Adeel fetched 1 wicket each for Faisalabad.
