Dubai(UAE): The Emirates Cricket Board’s (ECB) Chairman Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan has congratulated the UAE Men’s team on their historic series win over Bangladesh at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The Mohammad Waseem-led UAE stunned their experienced rivals in the last two matches of the series, with the victory sealed with a comfortable seven-wicket win on Wednesday night – 21 May – courtesy a stunning bowling performance by Haider Ali (three wickets for seven runs) and an unbeaten 87-run fourth-wicket partnership between Alishan Sharafu (68 not out) and Asif Khan (41 not out).
