Pakistan to participate in Senior's World Tenpin Bowling Championship
Abdul Jabbar FaisalISLAMABAD: A 4-member national team will represent Pakistan in the forthcoming Senior World Tenpin Bowling Championship, which will be rolled into action on October 13, 2025 at the National Bowling Stadium, Reno, Nevada, United States of America (USA).According to an official of Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF), Ijaz-ur-Rehman, Mohammad Hussain, Shabbir Lashkar, and Aleem Agha will show their muscles in the 10 days international bowling showpiece. Ahmed Sheikhani and Amjad Mahmood will accompany the national team as a manager and coach, respectively.Secretary General PTBF Lt. Col. (Retd) Kamran Khalid Janjua said: “The training camp for preparation of international fixture will be held in the capital city, Islamabad, from September 1, 2025, as Tanveer Ahmed has been appointed as the camp coordinator-cum-commandant.

Pakistan U12 players Depart for ATF Final in Singapore
Abdul Jabbar FaisalISLAMABAD: Three players, Shayan Afridi, Rashid Bachani, Mohammad Ibraheem Hussain Gill, and an official, Mohammad Nameer Shamsi have left for Singapore to participate in the ATF Under-12 & Under-Team Competition Finals, scheduled to be held from August 25 to 30, 2025.According to an official of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), Pakistan secured their place in the Final after clinching the ATF U12 Regional Qualifying Event of South Asia in Sri Lanka in May 2025. Besides Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China, Korea, and Chinese Taipei players will fight for the top honour.The Pakistan squad will consist of Shayan Afridi (Player), Rashid Bachani (Player), Mohammad Ibraheem Hussain Gill (Player), Mohammad Nameer Shamsi (Captain) during the international junior tennis competitions. Col. (R) Zia-ud-din Tufail, Secretary General PTF, also shared his encouragement, saying, our players are in good shape, and we look forward to their best performance in this important competition.

Saleema Imtiaz to officiate in Pakistan v South Africa women’s series
Lahore (PR): Pakistan’s Saleema Imtiaz will officiate in her first ODI bilateral series when she takes the field during the upcoming three-match women’s ODI series between Pakistan and South Africa in Lahore, with the PCB confirming the match officials for the series.The three-match ODI series will be staged at the Gaddafi Stadium from 16 to 22 September.Saleema, who is part of the ICC International Panel of Umpires will be joined by Australia’s Claire Polosak, who returns to Pakistan after officiating in the Pakistan v West Indies women’s series last year in Karachi. Polosak, also a member of the ICC International Panel of Umpires, will stand in all three ODIs as an on-field umpire.Humairah Farah has been named as the reserve umpire for the series, while Tariq Rasheed from the PCB Elite Panel of Umpires will also perform duty of an on-field umpire during the series. Lahore (SBR): The President of the Pakistan Football Federation, Syed Mohsen Gilani, has stated that Pakistan has never had a coach of such a high pDuring a press conference held at the Pakistan Football Federation, President Syed Mohsen Gilani, accompanied by Head Coach Nolberto Solano, emphasised that Solano’s presence would provide a valuable learning opportunity for local coaches.“His experience will play a key role in strengthening modern football in Pakistan and motivating our players,” Gilani stated. He also highlighted the launch of Pakistan’s first-ever national futsal team, which is currently preparing to participate in an international tournament for the very first time. Gilani further added that FIFA and the AFC have assured their full support for Pakistan’s football development.Newly appointed Head Coach of the Pakistan U23 and Senior Men’s National Teams, Nolberto Solano, a former Peruvian international footballer and experienced coach, shared his vision for Pakistan football.“First of all, I want to thank PFF President Syed Mohsen for giving me this opportunity. Maaz Sadaqat’s century helps Shaheens secure third win in Top End T20 Series
 Darwin (SBR): Maaz Sadaqat’s century powered Pakistan Shaheens to an emphatic 107-run win over Adelaide Strikers in the 23rd fixture of the Top End T20 Series at the DXC Arena in Darwin on Wednesday evening. This was Shaheens’ third victory in the event, taking their tally to six points from five matches.After electing to bat first, the opening pair of Maaz Sadaqat and Yasir Khan provided a solid foundation with a 149-run partnership for the first wicket. Yasir was the first to return back to the pavilion after scoring 51 off 35 balls, hitting five fours and a six. This was his second half-century of the tournament.Left-handed batter Maaz was then joined by Abdul Samad and the pair added 32 runs for the second wicket. 20-year-old Maaz went on to register his maiden century of the tournament, striking 11 fours and two sixes in his 59-ball knock of 104.Shaheens’ total was further boosted by a quick-fire 25 off 18 balls from Abdul Samad, which included a four and a six as they scored 202 for six in 20 overs.For Strikers, Harry Manenti claimed three wickets for 31 runs in three overs.In reply, Strikers lost wickets at regular intervals and were reduced to 49 for five in the eighth over. This year’s roster sees 10 players each placed in Categories B, C, and D. SPL-7 final: Showbiz XI beat Social Media Stars by 35 runs
Karachi (Sports Report) Thanks to Salman Saeed’s brilliant batting, Showbiz XI won the Naya Nazimabad Fame wheels Stars Premier League Season Seven cricket tournament. In the final, Social Media Stars were defeated by 35 runs.The match was played under the lights of electric lights at the Naya Nazimabad Cricket Stadium, organized by Uzee Brothers and supported by Fame Wheels. Showbiz XI won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 136 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted eight overs. Opener Salman Saeed played an innings of 63 runs off 20 balls with the help of three sixes and four fours.
