Harare Sports Club:-Zimbabwe defeated Netherlands by 6 wickets in ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 at Harare Sports Club on Tuesday.

Zimbabwe Captain Craig Ervine won the toss and decided to field first against the Netherlands. Vikramjit Singh (88 runs, 111 balls, 4x9, 6x0), Scott Edwards (83 runs, 72 balls, 4x8, 6x0), and Max O’Dowd (59 runs, 67 balls, 4x10, 6x0) were the toppers for the Netherlands. For Zimbabwe  Sikandar Raza (4 for 55), and Richard Ngarava (2 for 40) were successful bowlers.

In reply, Zimbabwe reached on target of 352 runs in 40.5 overs. Sikander Raza played brilliant unbeaten innings of 102 runs. He faced 54 balls and smashed six fours and 8 sixes. Seam Williams made 91 runs in 58 balls, as he hit 10 fours and 2 big sixes. Captain Craig Ervine hit 50 runs off 58 balls. Shariz Ahmad (2 for 17), and Vikramjit Singh (1 for 33) were wicket-takers for Holland. Sikander Raza got Man of the match award.
