Harare (Zimbabwe):- The host’s team Zimbabwe thrashed the United States of America (USA) by 304 runs in the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup Qualifier 2023 match here at Harare Sports Club Zimbabwe on Monday.

The USA captain Monank Patel won the toss and decided to field first, as Zimbabwe batters scored 408 in 50 overs. Sean Williams was the top scorer with 174 runs with the help of 21 boundaries and 5 sixes. Joylord Gumbie smashed 78 runs with 5 fours while Sikandar Raza made 48 runs including 5 boundaries and 2 sixes for Zimbabwe. Abhishek Paradkar (3 for 78), Jessy Singh (2 for 97), Nosthush Kenjige (1 for 62) were wicket-taker bowlers for the USA.
