ITF Juniors: Mohammad Zaryab and Azat claim Doubles title

Abdul Jabbar Faisal ISLAMABAD: Upcoming tennis lad, Mohammad Zaryab Khan pairing with Azat Sarsembaev from Kazakhstan annexed the Boys’ Doubles crown of the ITF Pakistan Juniors Tennis Championships Leg-1 after thrashing Ibrahim Furkan Deniz from Turkey and Imran Khaitbaev from Uzbekistan in straight sets here at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Friday. In Boys Doubles finals, Mohammad Zaryab Khan of Pakistan and his overseas partner Azat Sarsembaev of Kazakhstan overcame their challengers Ibrahim Furkan Deniz and Imran Khaitbaev with the score-line was 6-3 and 7-5 feisty battle. This was first ITF Juniors’ Title for both Azat and Zaryab. Zaryab's win, who trains at the NTC, will give a boost to his confidence, and inspire all the other local players. Earlier, in Girls Doubles final, Polina Kaibekova of Russian pairing with Deren Ozel from Turkey brushed aside Lia Belibova and Defne Yuksel in similar fashion 2-0 with the final score-line of 6-4 and 7-5to lift the title of ITF Pakistan Juniors Tennis Championship. ITF Juniors: Amir Asylkozhaev and Imran Khaitbaev set to meet in final

Sports Bulletin Report ISLAMABAD: Amir Asylkozhaev from Russia and Imran Khaitbaev from Uzbekistan set to meet in the final of the ongoing ITF Pakistan Juniors Tennis Championship after beating their respective opponents in the semifinals here at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Thursday. The final will be played on Saturday at the same venue. In the first semifinal, Amir Asylkozhaev ousted Azat Sarsembaev from Kazakhstan in straight sets with the score-line of 6-2 and 6-4 while in the second semifinal Khaitbaev outplayed Bugra Ozkoc from Turkey in similar style 2-0. The final score-line was 6-3 and 6-0. ITF Pakistan Juniors Tennis: 7 foreigners move in quarterfinals

Sports Bulletin Report ISLAMABAD: Pakistani player Ahmed Nael Qureshi along with seven foreign players, Aarav Samrat Hada, Imran Khaitbaev, Burga Ozkoc, Azat Sarsembaev, Amir Asylkozhaev, Teetawat Tavachphongsri, and Zaidh Zihar moved into the Top-8 stage of the ongoing ITF Pakistan Juniors Tennis Championship after winning their respective matches here at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Tuesday. In Boys’ Singles, Zaidh Zihar of Sri Lanka claimed an upset victory after beating 8th seed local guy Bilal Asim 2-1 with the score-line of 7-6 (5), 2-6, and 6-4. ITF Pakistan Juniors Tennis: Mohammad Talha defeats Arayan Giri 2-1

AA Report ISLAMABAD: Five Pakistani players, Bilal Asim, Mohammad Talha Khan, Ahmed Nael Qureshi, Hamid Israr and Sami Zeb Khan have moved into the second round of the ITF Pakistan Juniors Tennis Championship Leg-1 after beating their respective rivals here at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Monday. Pakistan's Mohammad Talha Khan toppled 5th seed Aryan Giri from Nepal that caused a biggest upset of the first day in an exciting 3-set encounter. The final score-line was 4-6,6-4 and 6-3. In another thrilling match, Pakistan's Hamid Israr upset 7th seed Kamonpanyakorn Thadpong of Thailand 7-6 (1), 6-7 (8), 6-1. ITF Pakistan Juniors Tennis Championship starts at PTF Complex

Sports Bulletin Report ISLAMABAD: ITF (International Tennis Federation) Pakistan Juniors Tennis Championship Leg-1 rolled into action here at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex with the qualifying round, as the main draw matches will be started from Monday. A total number of 12 qualifying matches were played on the first day, as the final round of the qualifying matches will be on Sunday while the main draw will commence on Monday at the same venue. Around 38 foreign boys and girls from Turkey, Russia, India, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Australia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United States of America (USA), Nepal, Malaysia and Japan are participating in the first leg of the international juniors’ fixture. The President PTF, Salim Saifullah Khan and Former Provincial Minister-KPK Humayun Saifullah Khan visited PTF Complex and interacted with the players, coaches and parents and, conveyed their best wishes to all the participants. The President PTF also met and encouraged the two youngest Pakistani participants, Amir Mohammad Khan Mazari and Nabeel Ali Qayum, and motivated them to keep toiling hard, as they had a bright future ahead of them. Pakistan outclass Hong Kong 3-0 in Juniors Tennis Fixture

SPORTS BULLETIN Islamabad:-Pakistan outclassed Hong Kong 3-0 in their opening fixture of the ITF Asia 12&U Team Final Competition 2022 that started Nursultan, Kazakhstan on Monday, which will conclude on September 17, 2022 at the same venue. According to an official of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), as many as 8 teams of the region are talking part in the international juniors’ tennis event. Pakistan is in Group A along with Iran, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan and Myanmar while India, Thailand, Chinese Taipei and Uzbekistan are in Group B. On opening day, Pakistan beat Hong Kong 3-0, as all players performed excellent and won their matches comfortably. Pakistan stun Bangladesh 3-0 in ITF Asia Under-12 Team fixture

Sports Bulletin Report ISLAMABAD:-Pakistan outclassed Bangladesh 3-0 in the ITF Asia Under-12 Team Championship, which is going on Kathmandu, Nepal. Pakistan will meet India in the final at the same venue on Friday. According to Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Maldives and Bhutan are taking part in the championship. Mohammad Abid is the captain of the Pakistan team and the team members are Abubakar Talha, Hamza Ali Rizwan and Omar Jawad. On the fourth day of the competition, Pakistan beat Bangladesh 3-0 and Pakistan will take on arch-rival India in the final. Huzaifa and Aysegul clinch the titles

SB Report ISLAMABAD:-Top Seed Mert Aysegul (TUR) clinch the Girls Singles title by eliminating unseed Soo Ha Jang (KOR) in the Girls Singles final whereas second seed Huzaifa Abdul Rehman (PAK) annexed the Boys Singles Title by beating 6th Seed Shoaib Khan (PAK) in straight sets at ITA-SNGPL ITF Pakistan World Junior Tennis Championships at PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad on Friday. In the Girls Singles event, top seed Aysegul (TUR) played outstanding tennis in the first set Ayesgul and won the first set at 6-1 breaking 3rd and 5th game. She was in excellent touch and forehand drives were watched to witness and her cross court shorts were could not return by opponent, Soo Ha Jang unable to adjust against the pace of powerful game of Aysegul. In the second set Ayesgul was in full command and build up the lead 4-0 by breaking 1st and 3rd game . Soo Ha Jang reduced the lead 3-4 by breaking 6th game of Aysegul. Mert Aysegul won the second set at 6-3 by breaking 9th game of Soo Ha Hang. She gain valuable 21 ITF ranking points by winning the title. The match lasted 1 hour 10 minutes and officiate by Husnain Mehmood. In Boys Singles final, second seed Huzaifa Abdul Rehman (PAK) continue his winning streak and won the Boys Singles title. He build up the winning lead 4-0 by breaking 2nd and 4th game of the first set. Shoaib broke the 5th game of Huzaifa and reduce the lead 3-4. Huzaifa won the first set at 6-4 by holding his own serve. In the second set Shoaib Khan played very consistent game from the base line and took the lead 5-1 by breaking 3rd and 5th game of Huzaifa and won the second set at 6-3 and level the score one set all. In the final set Huzaifa changed the strategy and played more consistent powerful drive from the base line and build up the lead 4-0 by breaking 1st and 3rd game of Soahib and won the final set at 6-3 and it was his second consecutive title which is a new record in Pakistan. He got valuable 21 international ranking points. The match lasted 2 hours 15 minutes and Shahzad Akhtar Alvi ITF White Badge officiate the match. In the Boys Doubles final, Gunuk Kang (KOR) / KIM Min-Joon (KOR) beat Mohammad Nauman Aftab (PAK) / Saqib Hayat (PAK) 7-5, 6-2. In the Girls Doubles final, Ji Woo Chai (KOR) / Soo Ha Jang (KOR) beat Mahta Khanloo (IRI) / Meshkatolzahra Safi (IRI) 6-3 7-5.
